The program began with a brief presentation on GIS research and learning activities at TSU.
Next there were presentations by students enrolled in the GIS course (GEOG 310).  Topics included -
"Mapping Grocery Stores and Community Socioeconomic Status,"
"Mapping Race and Recycling Center Locations,"
"Locations of Coin Laundries and Community Socioeconomic Characteristics," and
"Demographic Characteristics of Communities Near Public Housing."
